THIS ITEM IS ON CLEARANCE WHICH MEANS ALL SALES ARE FINAL Runner’s World Review
The pendulum has swung from minimalism to cushioning, and the current darling is Hoka One One, thanks to the success of its "max-cushioned" models. The conquest is nowhere near as springy as those earlier shoes, but it's still easily the softest of all shoes in this guide. That's to be expected; its forefoot is thicker than the heels of every other shoe included here. A rockered sole helps runners get past all that foam underfoot–it curves up at the toe and forefoot, allowing the shoe to more easily roll through the gait cycle. BOTTOM LINE: If foam's your thing, the Conquest is worth a look.
